The DIG4LIFE – Digital for Literacy and Future Education project, financed by the Erasmus+ program, has reached the national teacher training phase: on 30 April the path was launched in Italy and starting from September 2021 it will also be implemented in the project partner countries. The training currently involves 8 trainers and 18 teachers, coming from 6 schools across the country.
The goal of DIG4LIFEin
this phase of direct involvement of schools is to explore the
self-evaluation practices in place in educational contexts with the aim of
stimulate teachers to reflect on areas for improvement, so as to
activate new resources and strategies to imagine change and promote
the innovation of teaching practices.
Barely in the frame
described the DIG4LIFE project intends to encourage the production, the
experimentation and sharing of innovative teaching methods that
enhance self-evaluation and experiential logic, with particular focus
on play as a lever for learning.
The 18 teachers are Italian
currently involved in the co-construction of a Serious Game, for the car
digital skills assessment according to the European DigComp framework. The
Serious Game developed with the support of ENTROPY will then be tested by the students in the phase
subsequent project, based on a developed testing protocol
from the Department of Computer Engineering of the University of Cadiz.
At the end of the
experimentation the research results and the DIG4LIFE toolkit will be resources
open, available and downloadable from the project website www.dig4life.eu
The Research Center
DITES of Link Campus University participates as an Associated Partner by putting a
provision of the online learning environment in which all the learning takes place
project activities.
