Jean Monnet BUTH-AI Module - Pathway of Excellence ‘The use of AI and the practical implications of data protection, cybersecurity and ethical principles’ enrolment open til 6th February
For the 2025–2026 academic year, Link University will once again host the Pathway of Excellence entitled “The use of Artificial Intelligence and the practical implications of data protection, IT security and ethical principles”, which is part of the degree course in Innovative Technologies for Digital Communication (L-20) .
The Path is part of the European project Buth-AI – Building Trust in Human-Centric Artificial Intelligence (project number: 101127627) and is now in its third year, confirming its scientific soundness and growing interest in the issues addressed.
The initiative offers an interdisciplinary and highly practice-oriented approach, with the aim of providing critical and operational tools for understanding the impact of Artificial Intelligence in key areas of public and private life, with a particular focus on personal data protection, cybersecurity, ethical and social issues, and the latest regulatory developments.
The programme includes a series of thematic lectures followed by a practical workshop, to which the last five sessions will be dedicated, designed to apply the knowledge acquired in a concrete way.
This edition will also feature leading national and international experts in the field.

Classes will begin on 20 February 2026 and will be held on Fridays. Attendance is free and open to everyone, students and non-students alike, who are interested in gaining a deeper, informed and responsible understanding of the transformations brought about by Artificial Intelligence.
