SAFSOR presents “Religioni e non”, the international conference on the sociology of religion – 25–29 May
We are delighted to announce “Religioni e non”, the conference organised by SAFSOR – School of Advanced Studies in the Sociology of Religion, which will take place from 25 to 29 May 2026 in Rome, at the Luigi Sturzo Institute.
The event represents an important opportunity for academic and interdisciplinary discussion on contemporary religious phenomena, addressing topics such as religious pluralism, secularisation, the digital transformation of religions and intercultural dynamics. The programme will feature lecturers and experts from numerous Italian and international universities, with presentations, debates and opportunities for exchange among participants.
Over the course of the five days, topics ranging from youth spirituality to interfaith relations, from religions in the digital age to the relationship between religion, society and politics will be explored, offering a broad and up-to-date overview of the contemporary religious landscape.
The conference aims to provide a space for open dialogue between scholars, students and professionals interested in the sociology of religion, encouraging critical reflection on the challenges and opportunities of the contemporary world.
