For the academic year 2024-2025, Link University will once again host the Path of Excellence “The use of Al and the practical connotations of data protection, cybersecurity and ethical principles” related to the degree course in Tecnologie innovative per la comunicazione digitale – Innovative technologies for digital communication (L-20), which will start next February.

The course, now in its second year, will address the practical connotations of Artificial Intelligence, investigating its applications in various sectors, from ethics to the world of criminology, from the environmental industry to the wine and food sector, from the business to the school and children’s sector, including an analysis of the critical issues related to the contractualisation of the use of AI and the protection of personal data.

Course participants will also have the opportunity to try their hand at simulating a cyber attack and, dressed in the shoes of a company’s CIO, analyse the defensive and management strategies of the simulated data breach.

As was the case last year, lecturers will be among the top national experts, including confirmed professionals who participated in the previous edition and “new entries” who, with their experience, will enrich the skills available to participants in this course.

Classes will begin in mid-February and will be held on Fridays. Attendance is free of charge and access is open to all.
