Innovation and Digital Transformation: two DITES papers at the ISA Forum 2025
The DITES Research Centre took part in the International Sociological Association (ISA) Forum 2025, held in Rabat, Morocco, from 6 to 11 July, with two keynote speeches presented by Maria Chiara De Angelis, which highlighted the centre’s commitment to the issues of digital transformation and social innovation.
The first contribution, entitled ‘Driving Social Innovation: Bridging Civic Society and Higher Education for Global Sustainable Development’, illustrated the results of the Erasmus+ UP2YOU project, focusing on strengthening the connections between universities and civil society to address the global challenges of green and digital transitions.
The second talk, ‘Digital Transformation at University: Fostering E-Leadership in Higher Education’ by Maria Chiara De Angelis and Stefania Capogna, explored how universities are coping with digital transformation, offering guidelines, good practices and operational recommendations to promote e-leadership in the academic context.
The participation represented an important opportunity for international comparison for the Research Centre, confirming its active role in educational and social innovation processes.
