Pathway of Excellence ‘The use of AI and the practical implications of data protection, IT security and ethical principles’ A.Y. 2025-2026

For the academic year 2025-2026, the Link Campus University will once again host the Pathway of Excellence ‘The use of AI and the practical implications of data protection, cybersecurity and ethical principles’ as part of the degree course in Innovative Technologies for Digital Communication – Innovative technologies for digital communication (L-20), and part of the Buth-AI project, Building Trust in Human-Centric Artificial Intelligence – project number: 101127627.

In its third year, the course will address the practical aspects of Artificial Intelligence, investigating its applications in various sectors, from public administration to banking, from art to the apps we download and use on our devices, from healthcare to the management and protection of personal data.

Course participants will also have the opportunity to take part in a practical workshop in which they will carry out a project on the governance of artificial intelligence.

As in previous years, the course will feature lectures by leading national experts, professionals who participated in the last edition, and newcomers who will enrich the skills offered to participants with their experience.

Classes will begin in mid-February 2026 and will be held on Fridays. Attendance is free and open to all. Further information about the classes and the final programme will be published on the Buth-AI project website and on the DiTES research centre website.

Pursuant to Article 8 of the Link Campus University Regulations for Pathways of Excellence, the University grants students who have successfully completed the programme the right to enrol, within the following 12 months, in a course that is part of its educational offering, benefiting from a 50% reduction in tuition fees on the basis of merit.
