How can Artificial Intelligence transform higher education, making it more inclusive, accessible and capable of training digitally aware citizens?

This question will be addressed in the workshop “Empowering Higher Education with AI Tools and Resources”, led by Stefania Capogna from the DITES Research Centre of the Link Campus University, Sandra Troia from ALL DIGITAL and Konstantinos Amplianitis from University College Dublin during the ALL DIGITAL Summit 2025.

The workshop aims to combine reflection on Artificial Intelligence development strategies in education with practical and concrete activities. Participants will have the opportunity to reflect on the role of education in promoting AI literacy, encouraging responsible research practices and ensuring equitable access to digital rights.

Through interactive exercises, participants will be able to try out practical tools and approaches developed as part of the INFINITE project, gaining practical knowledge on how AI can support course design, inclusive content creation and institutional strategies. From the application of the INFINITE Toolkit for AI literacy and the AI Digital Hub tools to the introduction of Gamma for inclusive adaptive learning content, the session offers a practical exploration of the ethical and inclusive use of AI in education.
