The RESKILL project has started: digital and sustainable skills for tourism and hospitality

The European project RESKILL – Reskill Revolution: Pioneering Change in Adult Education, funded by the Erasmus+ programme and dedicated to the professional retraining of adults in the tourism and hospitality sectors, with an innovative focus on digital transition and sustainability, has officially begun.

At a time when the labour market requires increasingly up-to-date and cross-cutting skills, RESKILL aims to develop accessible, inclusive training solutions that are closely linked to the real needs of local areas and businesses. The project aims to support low-skilled adult workers in particular, offering concrete tools to address changes in the sector and seize new employment opportunities.

Among the main objectives are:

  • designing flexible and personalised learning pathways;
  • promoting collaboration between educational institutions, businesses and local stakeholders;
  • promoting innovative continuing education practices;
  • supporting the transition to more sustainable and digital tourism.

The consortium involves academic partners, training institutions and businesses from different European countries, united by their commitment to reshaping the future of training for work.
