We are pleased to announce the Call for Abstracts for the upcoming online interactive workshop, “Facing AI in Higher Education“. This event will occur from February 10 to 11, 2025, as part of the Jean Monnet project BUTH-AI: Building Trust in Human-Centric Artificial Intelligence.
The digitalisation of higher education presents various epistemological and ethical challenges, influencing teaching and learning practices, research organisation, and staff management. The dissemination of scientific information, access to research data, and engagement with external stakeholders are among the areas profoundly affected by digital transformation, particularly through the use of generative artificial intelligence.
This workshop examines how artificial intelligence impacts higher education institutions, focusing on academic research, teaching methodologies, and management practices. Moreover, it seeks to identify best practices to facilitate the ongoing digital transition.
The workshop will be structured as a roundtable, featuring a first session for presentations and a second session for discussion.
We welcome you to send extended abstracts between 400 and 500 words, excluding references, that showcase research findings, case studies, ongoing projects, or practical experiences.
We kindly ask you to send your proposals following the abstract template at this link and to disseminate the proposal to any interested colleagues.
