The 1st INVALSI Seminar ‘Data for Teaching’: Call for Sessions Now Open

From 25 to 27 November 2026, Link Campus University in Rome will host the 1st INVALSI Seminar ‘Data for Teaching’, dedicated to the theme of ‘Data for school evaluation, innovation and the improvement of teaching’.

The event, organised by INVALSI in collaboration with the Digital Technologies, Education and Society (DITES) Research Centre at Link Campus University, represents the first national forum specifically dedicated to the use of INVALSI data and other information sources to support processes of evaluation, innovation and improvement in school and educational contexts.

The seminar aims to promote dialogue between the research community, schools and professional bodies, highlighting scientific contributions, case studies, best practices, models, strategies and tools geared towards the informed use of data in educational and teaching processes.

All session proposals must be submitted to INVALSI by 15 July at 23:59 by completing the form available here.

Proposals may cover, amongst other topics, school self-evaluation, data literacy, the use of INVALSI data to improve teaching, early school leaving, evidence-based teaching innovation, the digital transition, artificial intelligence and the assessment of skills.

Accepted sessions will contribute to the development of the seminar’s academic programme and will provide an opportunity for discussion among researchers, experts, professionals, school and administrative staff, local networks and communities of practice.
