Call for abstracts: Institutionalising Youth Co-Governance in University–Territory Innovation Ecosystems
The DITES Research Centre (Digital Technologies, Education & Society) is pleased to announce the organisation of the international workshop “Institutionalising Youth Co-Governance in University–Territory Innovation Ecosystems”, to be held on 15 June 2026 in Valencia, from 14:00 to 18:00, as part of the HEAd’26 international conference.
The initiative, promoted in collaboration with the European RESKILL project, aims to explore the role of young people in decision-making processes within university and regional innovation ecosystems. We invite the academic community to submit abstracts focusing on:
- Models of participatory governance in universities that institutionalise youth co-decision-making
- Co-creation mechanisms linking universities, youth organisations and civil society actors within regional ecosystems
- Digital deliberation platforms and their implications for governance
- Evaluation frameworks and parameters for youth empowerment in institutional contexts
- Case studies documenting the structural transformation of governance models
The workshop represents an important opportunity for international exchange among scholars, researchers, policymakers and professionals interested in the themes of youth participation, social innovation and the transformation of education systems.
