class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">On 15 June 2026, the international workshop<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/headconf.org\/institutionalising-youth-co-governance-in-university-territory-innovation-ecosystems\/\"><b><i> \u201cInstitutionalising Youth Co-Governance in University\u2013Territory Innovation Ecosystems\u201d<\/i><\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> took place in Valencia, organised by the <\/span><b>DiTES Research Centre \u2013 Digital Technologies, Education &amp; Society<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> as part of the 12th international conference <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/headconf.org\/\"><b>Head\u201926 \u2013 Higher Education Advances.<\/b><\/a><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The initiative, promoted in collaboration with the European project <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/reskill-revolution.eu\/\"><b>RESKILL (Reskilling for the Digital and Sustainable Tourism and Hospitality Workforce)<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, provided an important opportunity for dialogue between scholars, researchers, professionals, representatives from the academic world and stakeholders involved in educational, social and regional innovation processes.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The workshop focused on youth co-governance in university contexts and within regional innovation ecosystems, with particular attention to universities as spaces for participation, dialogue, and collaboration among young people, institutions, local communities, and civil society.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">During the meeting, topics related to student participation, co-decision-making models, collaboration between universities and local communities, social innovation, non-formal education and practices for involving young people in processes of institutional and community transformation were addressed.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The discussion confirmed the importance of promoting interdisciplinary and international spaces capable of harnessing the contributions of younger generations to build innovation ecosystems that are more inclusive, participatory, and geared towards change.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In the coming weeks, the <\/span><b>workshop proceedings<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> will be published on the website of the journal <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.quadernidicomunita.it\/index.php\/qdc\/index\"><b>Quaderni di Comunit\u00e0 \u2013 Persone, Educazione e Welfare nella Societ\u00e0 5.0<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, bringing together the contributions presented and offering further food for thought on the themes that emerged during the workshop.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The DiTES
