class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We are pleased to announce that on <\/span><b>26 and 27 February 2026<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, the Link Campus University in Rome will host the International Conference <\/span><b>\u201cTechnology, Artificial Intelligence<\/b> <b>and Education Towards the Future of Learning\u201d<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, organised by RN24\/SSTNET \u2013 Sociology of Science and Technology Network and RN36 \u2013 Sociology of Transformations: East and West.<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The event will bring together scholars and researchers from across Europe to explore, from a sociological perspective, the increasingly pervasive role of technology and artificial intelligence in shaping the future of education.<br \/><\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The conference welcomes contributions that critically reflect on how innovations can address the current challenges of education systems, transform pedagogical approaches and impact social inequalities and opportunities in learning contexts.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Particular attention will be given to the work of doctoral students and young researchers, who are encouraged to share innovative perspectives and emerging research.<\/span><\/p><p><b>Suggested topics<\/b><\/p><ul><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>AI and teaching methodologies:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> personalised learning, adaptive systems, data-driven pedagogical strategies.<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Technology, inequality and inclusion: <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">digital divides, accessibility, gender variables and socio-economic background.<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Governance, ethics and data protection: <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">ethical implications of AI use, privacy and European regulations.<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Emerging skills and the labour market:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> new skills required by AI-driven industry, continuing education, and the role of universities.<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Citizen Science in education:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> participatory practices, STEM literacy and collaboration between educational institutions and local
