Research, development and Policy<\/i><\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, guest-edited by <\/span><b>Stefania Capogna<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and <\/span><b>Maria Chiara De Angelis.<\/b><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This special issue aims to explore how higher education is evolving in the face of digital, ecological and demographic transitions. The aim is to gather innovative contributions and cutting-edge research on the integration of digital tools and sustainable practices in the higher education system, with a focus on fostering inclusive learning environments that enhance participation and civic engagement.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We invite you to submit contributions that explore how higher education is addressing the dual transition &#8211;
