{"id":17335,"date":"2024-12-06T17:53:23","date_gmt":"2024-12-06T16:53:23","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dites.unilink.it\/?p=17335"},"modified":"2025-02-04T16:07:41","modified_gmt":"2025-02-04T15:07:41","slug":"youth-community-leaders-in-rural-areas-of-south-western-europe","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dites.unilink.it\/en\/news-en\/youth-community-leaders-in-rural-areas-of-south-western-europe\/","title":{"rendered":"Youth Community Leaders in rural areas of South-Western Europe"},"content":{"rendered":"\t\t<div data-elementor-type=\"wp-post\" data-elementor-id=\"17335\" class=\"elementor elementor-17335\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<section class=\"elementor-section elementor-top-section elementor-element elementor-element-d33251d elementor-section-boxed elementor-section-height-default elementor-section-height-default exad-glass-effect-no exad-sticky-section-no\" data-id=\"d33251d\" data-element_type=\"section\" data-e-type=\"section\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-container elementor-column-gap-default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-column elementor-col-100 elementor-top-column elementor-element elementor-element-ef06a37 exad-glass-effect-no exad-sticky-section-no\" data-id=\"ef06a37\" data-element_type=\"column\" data-e-type=\"column\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-wrap elementor-element-populated\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-52e736d exad-sticky-section-no exad-glass-effect-no elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"52e736d\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Erasmus+ project<\/span><b> YOULEADERS Youth Community Leaders in rural areas of South-Western Europe<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, in which the DITES Centre participates as a partner, ended with the final conference, \u2018Youth and Entrepreneurship\u2019, held in Trapani at Beehive Valore Sud on 24 September.<\/span><\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The project, which started in October 2022, involved more than 90 young people aged 14 to 19 from rural and geographically marginalised areas of Sicily (Italy), Galicia (Spain) and the Region of Leiria (Portugal) in an empowerment process aimed at increasing their entrepreneurial skills and encouraging their spirit of initiative.<\/span><\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The final event, \u2018Youth and Entrepreneurship,\u2019 shared the project&#8217;s phases and results and was an opportunity for young people and stakeholders involved in the initiative to meet and exchange ideas. The platform for sharing open educational resources used in the empowerment process was also launched during the conference.\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The resources available in the consortium&#8217;s four languages\u2014English, Italian, Portuguese, and Spanish\u2014are divided into eight modules, which can be downloaded and adapted to specific educational contexts. The themes of the modules are as follows: Theory of Change and Design Thinking, Soft Skills, Social Innovation, Self-Entrepreneurship, Digital Skills, Environmental Education, Sustainable Development Goals, and Gender Equality.<\/span><\/p><p><br \/><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Below is the link to browse and download the toolkit and training modules: <\/span><a
